Great app - Version: 1.08, 11/16/2007 06:43AM PST

I've been using it for several months. It does forget logins once in a while, once a week maybe, no big deal. People who don't see a need for this apparently don't have the need so they shouldn't criticize this just "because THEY don't need". I like the idea of having Gcal in a separate application independent from any web browser so I don't accidentally close all windows including the calendar. This way I can have my calendar opened all the time. This is a great product and has its use. I don't find it slower than the actual website viewed from Safari or Firefox either. People just like to come up with things to justify their complaints. And the author's attitude? I donated $10 and he thanked in a very polite way, he is a nice guy. The problem is that there are people out there that don't understand that "free" doesn't necessarily come with any support. They think that just because they've downloaded something from the web they're entitled to support. Heck, there are people who buy stuff from me on eBay and think they're entitled to lifetime tech support. So sometimes you have to be very verbose and clear to the point of being rude to get your point across.

THIS is one very nice calendar application; providing just the right level of access, for me, to Google's comprehensive calendar! Kudos to the author for an innovative design for accessing my Google Calendar. Well worth a suitable donation for his efforts!
I hope someone can pick up the development of this product, which I believe is open-source and hosted on Google's code site.
