I found that Spotlight was annoying because it doesn't tell you where the search word is in the document. You need to open each document and search it again to find out its context.

Evidently the Japanese understand information management well. A nice change from those jokers who want to charge $60 for Leap.
Spotlight is part of the OS and we just need small utilities to unlock its full potential. Thanks for keeping this free.

Great replacement for OS 9's RetrieveIt! - Version: 0.9, 2/28/2008 01:07AM PST

Finally an OSX replacement for OS 9's RetrieveIt! which shows found strings IN CONTEXT without having to open each document. You can cycle through each found instance with great ease and even copy and paste from the view window and keep the formatting.
This is just excellent and I'd certainly be willing to pay for this if I could find where to send some money.
