Product Description:

Mail Unread Menu is a simple menu bar application which can provide you with a quick and easy way to see how many unread email messages are in Apple's Mail. Unlike other menu bar notification applications, Mail Unread Menu is actually a plugin for Mail.app, which means that the count is instantaneously updated whenever you receive new email or change the status of a message.

What's new in this version:

Updates the Info.plist in the mailbundle file, to provide compatibility for Mac OS X 10.6.1 and Mail 4.1.

...but I think that this app used to bring the proper mailbox to the front when you selected it. Now it always brings the Inbox to the front, regardless of what you select.

the in app updater told me to update to a new version. I'm running leopard, not snow leopard. why would it tell me to upgrade if the new version won't run on my computer. used to love this app. now I'm just marveling at the short-sightedness of the developer. Not to users. don't upgrade until you have snow leopard installed.

3.2 wouldn't launch so I went back to 3.1.1. Then 3.2.1 still wouldn't launch so I went back to 3.1.1 again. I have Snow Leopard too.
