Product Description:
Every computer has loads of PDF files, probably scattered all over your hard disk. Use Yep to search, view and manage all these documents in one convenient place.

What's new in this version:
- New Feature: You can now pick the page of the PDF you want as the thumbnail page. Open a PDF in Yep's internal reader, and use the right click menu to pick which page to use for the thumbnail
- Fixed bug where some smart collections would pick all or no documents, and ignore the tag settings
- Fixed problem where tagging an untagged document would remove it from the right panel without warning
- Mailsmith support added by including a new applescript in the application package
- Dialog wording about moving files to trash cleared up
- Sometimes files were left open, meaning the trash could not be emptied, etc
- Fixed a rare but serious problem where using unix links to folders on other volumes could cause the name of a document to change
- Fixed problem where tagging an untagged document would remove it from the right panel without warning

If you're using v1.8 stay where you are!
Their website if full of reports (like mine) that report that 2.x does NOT find any PDF's.
That was a waste of an hour and a half....and $19 upgrade.

I'm pleased to see that Version 2.0.4 adds back the ability to edit the document creation date, which is a key piece of some workflows. This is clear evidence that the developers are paying attention to critical feedback from their customers.
The change of the tagging system from V1 to V2 is not working very well for me. I upgraded the database as described in the manual. Still there are documents which were tagged in V1 and are not correctly tagged in V2.
So I think ironicsoftware still needs to work hard on this update.
