Mr. Unix Maximus needs to get a life. If he can create something better for free, then he can comment. Personally I think it is kind of fun, although not something to stare at endlessly. =) Seems to me that a lot of work went into it. I totally agree that the screensavers that usually accompany film PR sites are really lame. it is a really cool idea to have shots from Superman Returns on the billboards.

Two suggestions...one, it would be cool if he could fly around at night. When I think of the original Superman movie, I think of the night scenes (must've been easier to hide the wires). Also, while I appreciate the variety of themes provided, the MIDI sounds a little cheesy. Could you add an option to pick an MP3 to play during the screeensaver. I have the Superman soundtrack, so it would be perfect.

I bet the Batman screensaver would be cool, but alas it is only for Windblows.

Its one of those screensavers you'll probably only use a few times, and it definately isn't what you'd use to showcase your machine's gfx capabilities, but it has a certain kitsch quality about it. I just love how erratically he flies around like he's lost. I thought this guy didn't need directions?

Yes, it's cheesy. Yes, it's useless. Yes, if you watch too long you may suffer from vertigo. Does it work as advertised? Yes. Does it crash? Not in my usage. My eight-year-old and I like it!

I love the graphics and it is indeed in 3D. The music is great ...the theme from the origina Superman movie!

Superman Returns 3D Screen Saver ReviewA great amusement - Version: 1.0, 6/12/2006 04:44AM PST

Wonderfully, gloriously cheesy - just like Superman itself. It really made me smile. Pity the music isn't better (the Lois and Clark theme in particular doesn't work as well as it could), but I loved this all the same. The graphics could be more detailed, but they're acceptable for only a 1.7MB download.

To the developer: a VSync option would be a useful addition. I see some very noticeable tearing from time to time with my ATI X800 card.
