Product Description:
For Mac users who enjoy the simplicity of a typewriter, but live in the digital world. WriteRoom is a full screen, distraction free, writing environment. Unlike standard word processors that focus on features, WriteRoom is just about you and your text.
What's new in this version:
- Added Preference to turn off cursor blinking.
- Added Preference to enable smart quotes as you type.
- Added Preference to open new documents in full screen mode by default.
- Added Preference to toggle full screen mode with just escape key, or Cmd-Escape.
- Changed Cmd-s will now force an autosave. Cmd-Shift-S will export content.
- Fixed Window order is saved in defaults so topmost window will be same next time WriteRoom is started.
- Fixed Export and shortcut key problems for international users.
- Fixed Exported files can be saved with any file extension.

I have not used WriteRoom. But, if all it primarily does is clear all else for a full screen writing space, other word processing applications already do that. Mellel, for example, does. I think there are some others, too, but their names slip me.
