Warp Rogue CommentaryWaro - Version: 0.7.4, 2/27/2007 11:36AM PST

Loved this game, loved the gunslinger opportunity, found it very satisfying to have a bunch of ranged weapon friends and just walk around shredding. My only critique is that it's too easy to win? I had to play Nethack for 4 months before I ascended, and I reached the bottom of this one in a week.

I love roguelike games and I can easily describe myself as an addicted to the genre. During the years I extensively played with Angband (and some of its different flavours) and ADOM mostly...well, I think that Warp Rogue it's a very interesting project: the opportunity to create a party (recruiting up to two "Merry Men"), the different world setting (frankly, we are already well stocked up with Elfs and Trolls!) and the overall playability makes this game very funny, IMHO.
I would like to see future improvements in the "quests" area, just to enrich the game with this standard in the roguelikes.
So, thank you so much to the developer and keep up the good work!

Warp Rogue CommentaryReminds me of 'Moria' - Version: 0.7.2, 1/5/2007 05:28AM PST

Looks like 'Moria' on steroids, the font I think is what reminds that other commenter about a Win95 port.

Would love to see this game networkable with other players, I have other games but the only games I play are online muds (even though I am heartbroken that I can't get tintin to work on a mac, I use Savitar but don't pay for it because it's not that great. Although it does support regexes which I've learned a bit of. Anyway, that's not important.)

So yeah it would be nice to play this this other people over the internet, otherwise I won't even bother downloading it.
