i tried this app and it completely wipe the movies off my hard drive they are no where to be found when i added the file extension everything seemed to be working fine but when i moved the files into the virtual dvd folder in movies they disappeared and are seemingly gone tried to find them in spotlight i looked everywhere. help?

The information about changing the extension is NOT included with the download, only on this page. Second, it don't work, all I get is an AppleScript error.
