Product Description:

1Password is a Password Manager that uniquely brings you both Security and Convenience. It is the only program that provides Anti-Phishing protection and goes beyond password management by adding Web Form Filling and Automatic Strong Password Generation. All your confidential information, including passwords, identities, and credit cards, is kept in one secure place provided by Apple's OS X Keychain. 1Password browser extensions support Safari, Camino, Firefox, OmniWeb, DEVONagent, NetNewsWire, Netscape Navigator, and Flock. All browser extensions share the data stored in the keychain which means you never need to manually copy your passwords between browsers or from the password manager to a browser ever again! 1Password has received numerous awards, including 4.5 mice from Macworld magazine, MacLife Editors pick, and was the Pick of Week on MacBreak Weekly by both Leo Laporte and Merlin Mann.

What's new in this version:

  • NEW Added support for new Camino 2 release.
  • NEW 1Password menu item is now displayed in Camino 2 webpage shortcut menu.
  • NEW Secure notes will now be created if you drag-n-drop .txt, .rtf, or .rtfd files into 1Password. This helps when importing data from various sources, including Yojimbo.
  • CHANGED Added special checks to detect and block frequent automatic date file reloads that could happen when data folder is constantly changing. This prevents system slowdown/freezing when fseventsd incorrectly reports constant data folder changes.
  • CHANGED Wallet customization gear menu now activates on mouse down.
  • CHANGED Made changes to possibly fix reported problem of password text overflowing view bounds for very long passwords.
  • CHANGED Improved initial selection of source list item 'Logins' when opening an existing keychain when no preferences are set.
  • CHANGED Display of expiration date fields now conforms to user's locale settings.
  • CHANGED Fixed problem displaying search results. When all table columns are removed, the default column settings are substituted.
  • FIXED Disabled several menu items under Help that cannot be used when 1Password is locked.
  • FIXED Fixed problem where adding Sample data may incorrectly cancel the 30-day trial period.
  • FIXED Now preventing software icon from covering up software license text.
  • FIXED Fixed problem with identities thumbnail image moving down the screen when switching between identities.
  • FIXED Fixed starting date of year 0001 when using the pop-up date picker on a disabled date field.
  • FIXED Fixing problems showing '+' and Add Sample Data buttons while locked after creating a new keychain with existing preferences.

1Password ReviewA must have! - Version: 3.0.1, 11/27/2009 12:55AM PST

I wanted to let you know how glad I am using 1Password 3!

I am a recent Mac switcher, and used RoboForm on Windows XP.

I choosed 1Password because it allowed me to import my datas from RoboForm as simple as 2 clicks...

Then I bought 1Password 3 because Agile currently offers 1Password for iPhone...

So many thanks again, I am delighted!

Been using 1P since version 2, and v3 is even better, kudos to the devs!

Software licenses are a nice addition, browser support is still great, interface is a perfect mac experience, with search and whatnot.

Being able to carry your keychain in a flash drive and view it via the web interface (which feels a lot like the native app) in windows or linux (and of course on another mac) is just perfect.

Thank you Agile Web Solutions, for another version of this great piece of software.

Cheers,
Marcelo.
