Product Description:

WebnoteHappy is a bookmark manager that helps you organize and remember the web pages that matter to you. Each web page can be personalized with notes and tags as you bookmark it, creating a "webnote". The fast integrated search makes it easy to find your webnotes again. Organize your webnotes with folders and smart folders, and work with your del.icio.us bookmarks right on your desktop.

WebnoteHappy is browser-independent, so you can create webnotes from within any browser on Mac OS X via the global hot key or bookmarklet. Tag and add notes to your existing bookmarks by importing them from Safari, Firefox, or OmniWeb. WebnoteHappy also interoperates with NetNewsWire, letting you tag and add notes to items in RSS feeds.

New: Tag browser can now be tabbed to.
New: Started catching 503 response code from del.icio.us API, which means that user has been throttled.
Leopard fix: Library folder not edited when tabbing away from Source list.
Fixed dragging URLs to Mail.app
Fixed new bookmark creation for URLs that have spaces in them
Fixed AppleScript tags accessor
Fixed Edit sheet bug where we would get an empty token bubble if there were no tags.
Removed secure communication preference to del.icio.us, since all requests must go over https now.
Updated SparklePlus framework

Very nice UI, great search capabilities. If you use del.icio.us, it has excellent integration. Hopefully the app will continue to improve, I decided to plunk down some cash for it.

Is WebnoteHappy still actively developed? Will there be associations and support for Firefox, other browsers, and social bookmarking applications other than Del.icio.us? It seems to be a viable app but it, at this point, seems to only closely support Safari and Del.icio.us!

I downloaded this up looking for a simple Bookmark manager that I could use to share bookmarks and comments.

This app works perfectly, you can even share details del.icio.us Just what I was looking for.

There is also a safari tool that allows you to make comments direct from Safari - cool!
