Product Description:
Metronome is a free metronome for Mac OS X.
Most functions (start/stop, change tempo &etc) use only one key to facilitate one-handed operation.
A unique Accelerator - begin a difficult piece slowly and gradually speed up by any rate to any maximum tempo
A Tempo Finder - use any key to tap a tempo and put it into the metronome
Save favourite settings for easy re-loading.

What's new in this version:
Fixed a bug where whatever number you typed into the bell text field became '10' after pressing Tab or Enter. You can now type in any number.

Ron's Metronome is the only OSX software metronome with EXACTLY the features I was looking for, and after having used it for months, I emailed Ron with a suggestion (which was evidently duplicated by other users) and he got RIGHT on it (Auto Pilot) and a month later it was there! When I had difficulties making the new version work, his support was astonishingly thorough and personal. Rare that you find such a combination. I contributed gladly($8.00 is all he asks. He could sell it for multiples of that). Such developers deserve support. Thanks, Ron.

The bug described in the message below has been fixed. Version 1.8 of Metronome (actually now 1.8.1) works as advertised.

You're right, it doesn't let you have anything other than 10 in the bell value text field! This is a bug that slipped by me. I'll fix it ASAP. Until it's fixed, here's a link to version 1.7 which works as advertised, but without some of the newer features of v1.8.: http://members.ozemail.com.au/~ronfleckner/metronome/met17.zip
If you don't care about having a bell accent on anything above beat 10, then you can still use the newer 1.8 version. You can check if the bug has been fixed and the fixed version available via the app's Check For Update... menu item
