Excellent Download assistant!

I often download multiple apps that do similar things - like URL Managers - from Versiontracker. Then I test each one and determine which is my favorite to license. Perviously I had to download them one-at-a-time by CMD-Clicking each one. Now I tell dTa to find them all on the given web page, I confirm it selection and off it goes. Wow!
I sure wish this also worked with Safari...

I've been using DTA with both Firefox 2 and 3, and it works very well. The interface could be a little bit more straightforward, but once you get the hang of it, it easy to configure and use. Definitely recommend it!

I running FireFox 2.0.0.12
I use "Speed Download" for downloads and the "DownloadHelper" plugin for videos like youtube.
I never could understand why people would want to download a wedpage.
There are other cool things that you can get that save parts of websites like the Skitch app.
Skitch is way cool. If you haven't tried that, you really should and watch the movie.

After downloading, I was disappointed that the current version (June 2006) 0.9.9.4 doesn't work with the most recent Firefox. Hopefully an update will come out soon!
Using .9.9.9.7 and loving it

Have used this program for quite some time and love it. It almost always maxes out my internet connection even on slower sites, sure the sites may not like me connecting 5 times but hey I will get off sooner.
Sometimes it is a little weird but nothing serious. I never download big files without it.

The concept of this download helper plugin is great and gives great hopes ... but the current implementation is annoyingly buggy. If you try to download files that already exist at the destination folder, the plugin becomes almost completely unsusable and I had to force-quit Firefox repeatedly. --
From v. 0.9.9.4 to 1.0.0.0, I'm afraid there's still a long road !!
Nevertheless, this plugin is very promising.

Just updated to v0.9.9.4. Now DownThemAll no longer works. Nothing will download using this helper. Previous version worked great!
What a great download assistant. While I use Safari to purchase mp3s I then use Firefox and DownThemAll to actually download them. Sure wish there was a version for Safari.
Fast, stable and easy to use filters.
Well worth a donation to support development.
