Product Description:
PaperCut NG for Mac is a print quota, charging, logging and monitoring tool designed for print management on multi-user networks. The software has been in use to manage printing in Windows environments since 1999 and this is PaperCut Software's first Mac release. The software works by integrating via CUPS and supports advanced feature such as popup client, share accounts, print job filtering based on document attributes, LDAP integration, and release station for secure printing. The Mac version has all the same features as the successful Windows and Linux versions.
What's new in this version:
After recently adding some major features to PaperCut, such as Web Print and the manager mode pop-up, we've been back to basics, polishing our existing features and improving on the core functionality of PaperCut.
Amongst other features, this release contains support for XPS documents with Web Print, along with many new reports and report filters. Extending on the previous release's User configuration report focusing on configuration of user accounts, this release contains similar configuration reports for groups, printers and shared accounts.

Brass Hammer
The reviews below were apparently placed here by the developers. At $450.00, the price is crazy for such a utility, and Apple Printer Server does the job just fine. Add to that that this is beta, and has crashed on me (taking down the entire OS), I'd say this software needs to grow up, and get a whole lot cheaper.

This software solves all our colleges quota problems, it is cross platform, Cost effective and will work with Mac Linux and Windows too!. does exactly what its supposed to with idiot proof setup and implimentation. As the Mac server printer quotas are such a joke this saved my bacon as a sytems administrator. Great tech support also. A trial version is available. You will not be disappointed.
