Product Description:

Amua is a status bar application for Mac OS X that allows you to control Last.fm web-radio streams. It is an alternative to the official Last.fm player

Wonder which song is playing? Just move over the note icon on top right of your screen without switching away from what you're currently doing. A click on the icon displays the Amua menu where you can control your radio stream and send the usual Love/Skip/Ban commands. Alternatively you can detach the song information panel and drag it somewhere on your screen, such that you can always see what is playing.

Amua is free software, with ``free'' as in ``free speech'', not as in ``free beer''. It is licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

Amua Troubleshooting ReportReally liked it - but doesn't work anymore - Version: 0.5.6, 9/3/2007 12:06AM PST

The current version of Amua (which is more than a year old) is no longer compatible with last.fm. What a shame, such a great player. Now I have to use the official bloatware:(.

Amua ReviewSlick and slim - Version: 0.5.6, 7/8/2007 02:40PM PST

Great little piece of software. Yes, it uses iTunes to acutally play a station, which is great if you want to use AirTunes. It won't add the stations to your iTunes library in case you wondered.

seems to be a good app, but it doesn't work für me here. it opens itunes. why? i thought it is a player like the last.fm-play? which doe not need itunes...
than, i can't define stations like indierock or so.
and if i klick on play station than it works and works and works... hm.
perhaps you need a better documentation?
i woulod love it, if it would work for me :-)
