Product Description:
Once you enable "GoBack" on your Tivo box, you can post any video file to your Tivo and watch it on your TV rather than your computer monitor. The problem is that the video requirements for Tivo are specific, and the choice of tools and options is almost limitless. This was written to be a one-stop utility to get you up and running the quickest. No other downloads. No searching through posts to find the right dimensions or bitrates or whazzamallitches. Set your destination directory in preferences, load up a video file, and go.
To enable "GoBack" functionality, you will need to install the Galleon Media Server or the Tivo Desktop 1.9.3 with hack (see note below).

What's new in this version:
- "Autosize" option added to properly set-up videos of any aspect ratio
- Now logs processes to console for debugging
- Displays video properties
- Automatically sets output bitrate to match source video's
- Automatically creates default output directory if it doesn't exist
- Bug fix: Preference window no longer becomes detached from main window
- Bug fix: Progress bar now accurately depicts complete/remaining

Tried it out tonight with a few short video clips and it works as advertised! Between this and the new GoBack hack, I'm fairly happy. For a 0.1b, this is really nice. Missing some features, but I have no doubt it will mature into a very good app. Thanks!

Thanks brossow for posting the mirror and your response. Yes you need to set the destination directory in preferences. Will add to the list to create the GoBack dir if it doesn't exist.
If you have problems, please post your current OS version, hardware (intel not supported), and anything else that you think might help to find the problem. I only have two macs to test this on, so I'm sure problems will pop up on different systems.
The next version will include a queue and logging and error detection.
I have tested the Tivo Desktop 1.9.3 GoBack hack, and it seems to work like a charm. See this thread to enable it. Be sure to open TCP ports 2190, 5353, 8101 on your firewall.
