Symantec pcAnywhere CommentaryTimbuktu Pro 4 Me - Version: 12.0, 5/1/2006 07:11AM PST

Netopia has been there since the beginning, and it's been nothing short of great for my Mac to PC; PC to Mac; and Mac to Mac needs (I've never needed PC to PC). Their support is rather lazy and unclear, but at least it exists which is more I can say for Symantec. Really, Symantec is down to NAV for the Mac. Really, that's about the only useful app they have left for the Mac. Will I abandon Timbuktu for 0 support and a poor track record for the Mac platform? No way. Thanks Symantec, but I'll stay with Timbuktu.

It's time for Symantec to just go away in silence, their support is the worse in the market and it is clear now that they've lost contact with reality.... come on... somebody tell them we already are in 2006 and OSX is not new!!!
Tchau baby... just go away in silence.

Symantec pcAnywhere CommentarySorry guys. First impression is everything - Version: 12.0, 5/1/2006 12:25AM PST

The world that comes to mind is "too little too late". If you want to make an introduction then you need to come with such a force to earn our respect. The platform now is the Intel Macs, and by you coming now and after 4 months of being introduced and trying to support the past, we are not impressed. I would have waited a little longer and introduced a universal version. This does not show support to the Mac platform. Sorry guys.
