This is a great little add-on, and it's working beautifully. It's wonderful to be able to wander around the house and still hear through my killer speakers! I wish it could do one more thing: I want it to access the playlists on shared computer. In other words, I have my old laptop connected to the killer speakers, but I want to use the playlists (and music) on my new laptop. iTunes is set up to share the two already, so if I go to the old laptop the new laptop shows up under "shared" -- but not on the iTunes Remote Control on the new laptop. (Got it??)

This app. is simple, clean, and do what it claims to. It was easy to setup, and accomoplishes as simple task without getting in the way at all. That's all I can ask for. I am still on 10.4, so it is working well for me. I hope the developer keeps it updated so that when I eventually move to 10.5, I can continue to use this app.

Growl problem eliminated. I like this solution better than sharing as I listen to music on my G5 iMac and can control it from my MacBook.

After updating to 1.3.1 the program keeps looking for a Growl file called GrowlHelperApp.app that I don't have and fails to work.

Nice and quick responsive app (compared to it's competitor mentioned further down already) but lacks some features RemoteRemote offers:
• Track Rating
• System Volume Control
Both Apps are missing a search-function (Track/Artist/etc.) and honestly I prefer also a dashboard widget...
Due the fact of responsiveness I'm using mainly iTunes Remote Control now but start every here & then RemoteRemote to affect the remote's System volume or add track ratings. 'D love to see a widget of one of those nice apps!

why not just install itunes on both (or many) macs and share the library from one of the macs?

but i like the interface of remote remote (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/25736) better: it's more consistent (p.e. playlist + trackselecter) and the playlistselecter is better (it highlights the currently playing playlist when expanding).
and remote remote allow one to sleep the remote computer, to add/remove tracks to/from playlists...
