Send Photos To iPhoto Commentaryit's apple who didn't do their homework - Version: 1.0.0b1, 1/4/2007 06:41AM PST

Nice acknowdgement by the developer, but I was very glad to find this page on Version Tracker, giving explicit information that there is an "export to iPhoto" feature hidden in the "save" button in the Mail window, after a long fruitless search in Mail.app's Help, in Apple's support pages (could find no mention of the feature in either) and then on Google. I had to read through a lot of posts on Google before finding the info I wanted here. I hadn't even ever noticed that save button was there, (just below the address and subject entry fields) having never used it, and how does one know it has a drop-down menu? (Of course you can also drag and drop to iPhoto, but I was trying to find a foolproof technique for a "drag&drop challenged" user whom I help). As so often, it's Apple who didn't do their homework, or rather their schoolwork properly. They introduce this very nice feature - they even advertised it as a new feature in their blurb about enhancements in Tiger- but they don't document it !

Not used the product but thanks to the developers transparency I have learned something new and he has shown himself in a good light...

Good on you
