the App keep track of installed (and copied) software. If I trash a application, cleanApp opens up and ask me to delete or archive the associated files.
I have no problem, cant see system loss.

It will clean all the stuff related to the applications most of the time. It is a very useful application. Much better then trying to remove all the stuff by hands. I highly recommend it. Not costly.
Excellent !....

Bravo for this software and highly efficient. He found all the settings changed and very effectively removes the software. Each can be uninstalled as archives recovered subsequently.

This product worked very well removing programs and their associated files. However, the downside is that the feature that watches installs on your computer has a program that is always running in the background. That program hogs your computer's memory and slows down other processes. I think this is ridiculous. For that reason, I deleted this app from my computer. Otherwise, I would continue using it. If you install it, open the Activity monitor that is in your Utility Folder. Notice how much activity is coming from a program that should not even be running when the program itself is not launched. Have tried quite a few application uninstallers and, frankly, a lot of them won't show you all the folders and files that are associated with an application. This one does seem to give you a complete list, though, due to it's logging feature, and it makes it very easy to delete or archive software you don't want to use anymore. Quite useful for people who like to try out a lot of demos or shareware, but don't like the detritus from them sitting on their hard drive forever.
Outstanding Product - Please Read

I have never written a review of software before, nor am I being paid to write this, but after updating my CleanApp to the latest version, and reading the reviews, I thought to do so.
I have been a CleanApp user from the very beginning. It has worked absolutely perfectly for me every single time, and honestly, just keeps getting better with the updates.
Why do you need it? Simple. When you install a program, even on the Mac, components of that program install throughout the OS X system. Dragging the program from the applications folder to the trash is NOT enough. By doing so, you NEVER remove EVERYTHING and can honestly lead to system crashes, etc.
CleanApp is one of the only shareware programs that I own and proudly pay for. It removes everything every time, keeping my HD running flawlessly. Download the trial, and use it. It really works. I have NO idea what these other people who say it doesn't are doing.
Thank you.

Hmmm... I just used this software for the first time is awhile and it seemed to work flawlessly. No unneeded intervention. Easy. Now they need to sell it to Apple.
Improvements?

The original or earlier versions of this software seemed to work so seamlessly. You just dragged a damn file over and the rest seemed to happen with little or no intervention. Perhaps they were not working properly -- how the heck would one know? Now a screen comes up and makes you get more involved... Much like Microsoft, they seem to have made the product more of a pain, trying to justify paying for it. Apple needs to add some sort of app delete utility as a standard offering.
Demo didn't seem to get everything

I tried the demo and it got some stuff but seemed to leave the things for a couple apps in Application Support…works as well as anything else I've tried but the others are free.
Would love to see this work really comprehensively, so that I would feel confident about paying for it.
I voted to recommend it below but it still needs a little work. Also I would prefer it if it worked transparently like AppTrap (you just throw stuff into the Trash and it comes up with a list of associated files. But again relatively minor stuff).
