Works very well with Leopard, though not perfectly

Extremely nice product. I have a wireless keyboard with no caps lock or numlock indicators. I use the CAPS Warn audio "pop" sound to alert me when I have pressed either key, plus a brief screen flash, and also the indicator in the menubar. I like best the other indicator that is supposed to be next to the Apple logo except that it is not reliable in Leopard. There are 2 problems with it. (1) half the time it appears at mid-screen on the left side rather than in the menubar and (2) I use 6 Spaces (a Leopard feature) and it only shows up when System Preferences is open and then only in the same Space as System Preferences; it doesn't appear in the other 5 Spaces. However, the other method (the menubar icon) works just fine.

It's still a great little app and the new menu bar icon is an improvement, but I wish the developer had left well enough alone with regard to the color scheme; three colors were easier to see and looked nicer than the current two.

If you would like to simply disable the Caps Lock key, you don't need any extra software if you are running OS 10.4.x. Just do this:
1 Open System preferences.
2 Click on Keyboard and Mouse
3 Click the Keyboard tab
4 Click the Modifier Keys button (lower left)
5 Select No Action in the pull down menu adjacent to the Caps Lock label
6 Click OK
1 Open System preferences.

3 Click the Keyboard tab
4 Click the Modifier Keys button (lower left)
5 Select No Action in the pull down menu adjacent to the Caps Lock label
6 Click OK

This is a Godsend for a butterfingers typist like me who always hits caps lock when he shouldn't. Sheer Genius!
Great product

Great innovation, but I really miss a really great TSR for the PC, way back in the DOS days, when CAPS LOCK will cause you to tYPE lIKE tHIS. What this utility did, and I cannot remember the name of it, is make the keyboard behave like a manual typewriter: If you have the CAPS LOCK key down, typing a key while pressing on either Shift key will input a capital letter while simultaneously releasing the CAPS LOCK, so from then on you will be typing in normal (lower) case.
Now there is NOTHING I miss about using a PC

This is a really cool little app for those who have a tendency to hit "caps lock" unintentionally; in particular, I like the way it makes its fleeting appearances in the nether regions of my menu bar (and very elegantly, I might add) when the affected keys are depressed. I also like the way the optional indicator icon looks/works.
My only tiny complaint is that the CAPS warning sounds defective (which I'm sure it isn't). Maybe raise the pitch a skootch so we can decifer more easily what's being conveyed (I assume it's "caps lock on")?
