Task List CommentaryGreat concept - Version: 5.2, 3/17/2007 02:13PM PST

I wish I'd had this program when I was in school. The interface is intuitive, Mac-like and plays well with the Mac's included apps. I had some problems printing from the menu option but the toolbar icon worked just fine.

I'd be remiss, however, if I didn't point out to the developer that he's missing an opportunity here: He could relatively easily adapt the code base for this program to make a superior application for implementing David Allen's Getting Things Done methodologies.

All he'd need would be more robust printing options, the ability to view items by type (i.e., by GTD project) as well as by class (GTD context), and perhaps the a feature to allow steps to be listed as subtasks that appear in the task viewer as they become due and which must be checked off to advance the project.

Task List ReviewGood app, fabulous support - Version: 4.5, 10/3/2006 04:00PM PST

This is a great app for students. It is fairly simple, and could use the addition of some features, but overall, it is the best freeware homework app that I have used. The hilight of this app is its developer. I had a quirky problem with the software, so I emailed the developer. He was extremely responsive, and was able to fix my problems. When I sent the first email asking for help, I recieved a reply in fifteen minutes, a rarity for software support. All subsequent email (About 5 or 6) were answered with the same speed. Some features I would like to see are: Widget Improvements, Color coded assignments based on whether they are due tomorrow due today, late or another type. Other welcome additions would be A button to send the assignments as a note to your iPod, An imporved way to add and edit courses, and an option to hide assignments when they are marked as completed. Overall, a very nice app, with a great, responsive developer who is constantly adding features to his software.
