Product Description:

This irclescript will allow you to run trivia questions in any channel. Very customizable, and easy to use, Open source, use the script for your own projects

What's new in this version:

  • Added: Congratsmessage property to allow dynamic correct answer messages, next version will have a GUI to edit this.
  • Added: Ability to set the time people have the answer the question (30 sec default)
  • Change: When manually crediting an answer, it will now be 1 line, instead of two.
  • Change: If no one guesses the correct answer, it would default to "The answer 'is' ..." This has been changed, to use 'is' or 'contains'.
  • Change: When you /start, it will now display the maximum time per question that is allowed (setable via /setup timers)
  • Fix: When picking a new random question, the script was VERY inefficient in doing so. A newer method has devised, this should eliminate the stack overflows.

Inoperable and creator will not respond so help is poor. Support is poor. He created for his own use not ours.

To Whom It May Concern:
Upon downloading your bot I could not make any heads or tails out of your directions for getting your creation to work in Ircle. I myself actually use other IRC chat room clients and prefer using Colloquy or Conversation which has no bots. So it would have been nicer if one could have used in any IRC chat,
No one has taken on the task to create a bot and is understandable being easy to comprehend and use.
Yes it is appreciated that you have taken a step in this direction as I have searched for something for 3 years to no avail. Your directions and support are bad, You expect everyone to be as knowledgable as you, however it does not quite work out that way, What is easy for you is not easy for the learner whom a person has had no experience with before. You make no mention of how to install or where? Nothing about commands to the bot or anything? Therefore one scratches their noggin in frustration after a while and gives up.
I appreciate that this works well for you and you are using it. Sharing your creation to others is great, but now that you have released your software what good is it if one can't understand how to use it? If you were sitting along side of me and said well here is what you do, then I might have some better comprehension. As of now I have to pass and its a big disappointment to me as once again I find something to difficult to use for someone not as computer literate as you are. So in fairness I can't rate it nor can I recommend it, Perhaps there is someone out there who has a better understanding than I do. If not I suggest you provide that support. Thank you,
