Product Description:

Boot Camp lets you install Windows XP without moving your Mac data, though you will need to bring your own copy to the table, as Apple Computer does not sell or support Microsoft Windows.(1) Boot Camp will burn a CD of all the required drivers for Windows so you don't have to scrounge around the Internet looking for them. Apple will include technology in the next major release of Mac OS X, Leopard, that lets you install and run the Windows XP operating system on your Mac. Called Boot Camp, you can download a public beta today.

Apple Boot Camp CommentaryThis download is an .exe file, it doesn't "run" on Mac OS 10.5 - Version: 2.1, 6/5/2009 08:51AM PST

So the operating system it runs on is not really Mac OS X Leopard 10.5, but Windows itself. If you want the BootCamp assistant that runs on Mac OS X Leopard to set up a Windows partition, then it only comes with the Leopard disc itself

If this is the 1st software on the top downloads list... so, what Mac today is??? Software like this makes Mac the same calculator as PCs are.
BTW: Anything that can be done on pc-windowz can also be totally done on Mac with Mac OS (requires opened mind)...
