Product Description:

MyTunesRSS is 100% pure Java, i.e. it runs on any system with Java 1.5 and up. You start MyTunesRSS which includes an embedded Tomcat server. On this server you can access a web application with any browser which lets you search your iTunes library by title and/or artists. Then you can create an RSS feed or an M3U playlist from the results.

Any device capable of receiving RSS feeds or M3U playlists can get the songs from your iTunes library through the feed. For example the Playstation Portable can play songs from your iTunes library over WLAN with this application.

MyTunesRSS ReviewGreat app, great author, great forum! - Version: 3.0.6, 10/23/2007 06:19PM PST

I've been using this since version 2 with very few problems. Setting it up the first time was a bit confusing, but only because I don't know anything about networks, etc. However, the author has been very quick to help me with every step, and the forum members are very generous and fast with their help.

After I got it set up and working (which took only a few hours), I've never had any problems with it.

If you want to share all or just a few of your iTunes libraries or tracks, this is a great app at a very reasonable price with excellent support.

MyTunesRSS ReviewDoes Not Work For Me - Version: 3.0 rc8, 6/17/2007 06:42AM PST

Unfortunately my experience with this software has not been a good one. I wish I could give 5 stars and sing its praises, as so many have.
All I get is a world of DNS, Connection, and Server errors. Every network adjustment and/or change in setting only ends with a new error.
I do not know if it is my hardware, software, network settings, or a combination of those, but without consulting a network work engineer using this software does not seems to be as automatic and easy as some have experienced.
