I noticed if I had BackityMac, backup just my Address book, (backitymac shows its 356k) the resulting backed up sparse image file is a whopping 116MB. I was wondering if that was supposed to be that way (supposed to be that big).

When downloading BackityMac 2.1.9, and try to open the .dmg, I get an error about the disk image is corrupt.
I had emailed the developer a few weeks ago about the issue, but never heard back.

I bought version 1.5 and it worked great, also used the maintainence feature. All versions since then have not worked in some way. Not creating a dmg file, or total removal of the maintainence feature. Developer will not answer any email, about any one thing, but, they love accepting your money. Have emailed about the loss of the Maintainence feature, and DMG file creation death, no answers. Using Tiger 10.4.10

goes through all the motions, but then doesn't create a backup image.
I wanted this thing to work, but this is the last time I will give this a try.
The developer's "tweaks" didn't seem to do anything.

As of 2009-09-16:

Until then I’ve updated all the products to remove all registration requirements and they are all now FREE. Any versions previous to these listed will no longer activate. You may still email me if you wish, however, no further support for the products will be offered."
All their apps are still able to be downloaded ATM. But they are all 'end of life', aka 'abandonware'.
