to put everyone else out of the misery of trying to install any app using the mindvision installer.
Half the time it says that the app is already installed or is not needed for my system configuration (with many different apps).
I always thought that i knew what was installed on my pc, or what i wanted to install, but it seems that mindvision thinks it knows better.

I remember back in the day, Mindvision has always helped out mac software developers, I firestorm looks amazing, and I plan to buy it (and stop using drop stuff for all my apps =P as soon as I get some cash) but VISE is still top dog for any large or complex installations, and ANY installing in classic. The company is amazing, with great people.
They have dropped the shareware licensing program for shareware and freeware developers. The pricing is now at the point that as a developer, I can now roll my own installer for less than what VISE costs and fix my own bugs in a much more timely manner.
Bring back the shareware licensing program if you want to get your potential customers back.
