Gone are the days of keeping php.net open in the second monitor when developing. I haven't used this widget very long but it has already saved me alot of time.

As a PHP developer, this will be a very handy widget to have. When I'm not sure about a PHP function, I usually hop out to a search engine, search for the PHP function I'm looking for, then click a link that typically goes to an online version of the PHP manual. With this widget, I don't have to go to the internet or wade through search results to find the right information. This widget even gets partial matches, so if I know I'm looking for a mysql_ function I can type in mysql_ to get a list of all mysql_ functions, then click to get the full manual entry. I also like the ability to save favorite functions to look up quickly. What are the parameters for mysql_connect again??? PHP Function Reference widget to the rescue. Great job.

PHP Function Reference Usage TipCan't find function bug - Version: 0.9.1b, 3/19/2006 09:37AM PST

Yadda Yadda
I'm aware of that bug and am working on a fix. You can workaround it by flipping the widget over and selecting English as your preferred language.

Whenever I select a function I get:

Warning: file_get_contents(/Users/xxxxxx/Library/Widgets/PHPfr.wdgt/php_manual/php_manual_false/function.getmyuid.html): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /Users/xxxxxx/Library/Widgets/PHPfr.wdgt/scripts/return_html.php on line 6

where xxxxxx is my personal directory.

PHP Function Reference ReviewJust what I was looking for! - Version: 0.9.1b, 3/19/2006 01:45AM PST

echo one
This is so much faster than looking up PHP functions on the net. And the date formatter feature is cool too.
