iGallery ReviewReally Nice - Version: 1.6.3, 12/28/2008 01:18PM PST

I've tried a LOT of these web gallery programs and this is my favorite. The interface is simple and intuitive and the generated galleries are clean and elegant-looking. Adequate customization is available without overloading the user with options. It's really nice that you can edit captions and change slide order within the program, these features are not available in many other programs. Suggestions for improvement:

1) Make it possible to enable the auto slideshow without having it go into slideshow mode as soon as you view an image. In other words make the functions separate. As it is you can disable the auto slideshow completely so that you can view individual images, but then there's no auto slideshow feature available.

2) I'd rather have the slideshow options in the main window or a second window rather than in a preferences window that has to be opened and closed each time I want to try a different setting.

3) As another reviewer suggested, more flexible image size controls would be great, so that for example, all images could be the same height.

Thank you, Daniele, for offering this outstanding program free of charge.

iGallery ReviewVery basic & simple - Version: 1.6.1, 8/29/2007 10:20AM PST

It doesn't get any more basic than this - drop your shots in and click to create the page & supporting docs...you do not have to know anything at all about code to use this app.

It's so easy, a PC owner could do it. The price is right too!

Wish it would allow viewing of individual pics without automatically kicking into the slide show.
Wish for some customization of header/footer & other areas around the window for logos or more text info.
Wish it allowed for viewer comments to be entered for each photo.
Wish it could be configured to use your local Mac as the web host! OK, maybe asking too much...LOL

Daniele has done a very good job. It's easy and fun - try it!

iGallery Reviewnice - Version: 1.6.1, 8/2/2006 09:20AM PST

after fiddling with iView and Photoshop gallery actions this seems cool, simple and stylish. No hassle, instant gratification.
But I would like to have separate adjustment for width AND height. Or a checkbox "limit height only". This way I would get all images the same height. Also some more control for text would be nice.
