Product Description:

Share Menu is a system that connects a Macintosh OS X machine to a Windows or Samba network.

Unlike the existing Apple Samba system, Share Menu shows each share using full length names, and is not limited to fourteen characters. This removes the need to have special Macintosh share names that can be found using the Finder connect to server menu option.

  • Uses CIFS (if available) and SMBFS.

  • Connection status is displayed.

The demo version has the following limitations: The application will expire after a 30 days or 10 launches, whichever comes first.

What's new in this version:

  • Share Menu now fully supports Tiger (OS X 10.4).
  • Authentication window is now easier to understand.

Share Menu ReviewHonestly speaking- it sucks - Version: 1.5.3, 8/15/2007 02:01AM PST

cibologs
1) It doesnt allow to access Windows 2003 shares and there is no single word about it in product description in website

2) It doesnt allow to change or add servers for shares unless you are keen to edit .plist files manually

3) Strange approach to trial software- for every action in preference pane there is a popup - if the software is great it doesnt be so annoying- already implemented time limit and runs limit should be more than enought for trial limitations.
