Living with a woman suffering from endometriosis for years, which is usually simply shortened to "endo" in conversation, this caught my eye. Would have never paid attn to it if not for that but I might download and give it a try. :-)

What's the point of a screenshot that size?
Is getting very good...

... at a pretty fast pace. Developer is responsive and active in the support forums.
I found it very easy to set up more complicated news aggregation pattern, something that took a lot more time or simply wasn't possible w/ NNW and NewsFire (which I like both, for different reasons).
endo has become my standard news aggregator by now, despite minor nibbles w/ a couple of non-valid feeds.

Missing tabs and built-in browser

Like the previous reviewer I’m using NetNewsWire and eagerly await the upcoming release 2.1. Meanwhile I was checking out endo but found its innovative grouping concept a bit too adventurous. Most of all I miss a built-in browser as I keep my feeds separate from Safari & Co., coming back to the tabs I didn’t have time reading on the first go. NetNewsWire excels in that category and not having tabs or a built-in browser are to major weaknesses of endo despite a list of impressive and geeky features (Technorati, Flickr) under the hood.

Great approach to RSS, getting better with each little update...! An alternative to NNW and others for sure...

this is a well-designed, slick piece of software with some really great features (.mac syncing? wow).
however i tried to like this software. really, i did. but it had some quirks...like downloading a huge list of podcasts from macTV automatically, when all i wanted was the software update, and it wouldn't even download that. but the deal-breaker is i just can't get used to the layout. personally i much prefer the 3-panel interface of NetNewsWire, and its ability to view the web pages inline. too bad NNW's feature set doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
endo has some really great features but the layout and lack of built-in browsing just doesn't work for me. your mileage may vary...i still recommend checking this one out. i'm going to keep my eye on it.

Now it's Donationware. This says to me "I won't put much effort into it, let's see how many people might be still interested". Not that many, I'd guess, with Vienna + NetNewsWire + NewsFire + quite a few others out there.
I just hope Ecto is not heading the same way. I paid for that as well...
