Happy Mac Command Line Phobia Defeater Developer NoteNothing Better - Version: 0.0.0.0.1, 8/18/2006 09:02AM PST

rixstep (Rixstep)
There's nothing better to start the weekend than to get a rise out of you, Ilgaz! And funny, isn't it? Everyone else says the Rixstep site -educates-! But you - you come in here and troll! And then accuse others of - trolling? If Rixstep knock a product, it's because it deserves it and everything is backed up with facts. And as for all the people who continually write and thank for the articles and the heads-ups - you can't even count that high.

But you? You just slam things. You patrol in here like a total psycho and give the platform a really bad name.

It's hard to believe you would go through all this trouble if your own pocketbook weren't affected or if you're not totally round the bend with your lift stuck below the ground floor. Fifty fries short of a Happy Meal. A deck of cards missing all the spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs.

Or all of the above.

Try long walks. Exercise sometimes helps. Drink lots of fluids. And get to sleep at nights. Soon you'll come up with an idea for another killer app.

There is no command line phobia. It is just people doesn't have spare time to play around with pseudo terminal of OS X issuing needless geeky commands while they have work to do.

People aren't "morons" as you love to display on your site.

There is exactly no difference between typing
sudo fsck_hfs -f -d /dev/(some unix device name)

rather than clicking (oh no!) Disk Utility, selecting volume name and click "check for errors".

Of course if you got too much spare time in hand you attack every commercial product on your anti social, nerd website and shamelessly advertise $67 file explorer at front page.

What is worse than a troll? Advanced developer troll.

Sorry to say, you should be on FreeBSD, Linux scene rather than Macintosh scene. People sometimes pay 30% more to exact same hardware JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT A EASILY USED, STABLE OS.

EASY is the key. Got it? They would happily install a linux (ppc or intel) distro if they wanted to play around with command line producing nothing.

This is good. I've been waiting for something like this. As Alpha says, dig down inside. This is a riot.

PK, if there's hate at all, it must be for idiots like you. You really do stand out as a total moron.

So maybe there was a reason to release this turkey after all.

I give this one ten out of five. I won't keep it around, but if I need a good laugh or the day is going slowly, I'll just download it again. Thanks Rixstep!

PS. And I think I speak for many when I say I've learned more from your site than most of the other zealot sites combined. Thanks for giving us the time and effort. For FREE.
