Product Description:
This is a great little AppleScript application. Just type what you want for your computer to say, and then select the voice for it to say it in, and hit speak. For comments or support send me an email at mmsomekid@gmail.com.

The download links do not work, as in I can not get the application. The same thing happened with version 1.4, which is why I still am using version 1.3, which was not corrected regarding the wrong version number showing up, which I complained about back on 3-17-06, when version 1.2 was released, which developer responded with “I will see what i can do”. I feel developer is sloppy.

This is an amusing little app, but you could concievably do this with a text editor and just get the computer to speak it. This simply neatens it all up into one package, instead of opening Appleworks, speech etc.
Don't know what you could use it for other than silly fun? Perhaps a good app for speech impaired people. Maybe practical jokes, i.e. phone a friend and freak them out?
Recommend? Yeah, sure it's a fun little thing.
