Product Description:

There's fireworks screen savers, and then there's Skyrocket. Technology has come a long way since the days of the Pyro! screen saver, and Skyrocket shows how far we've come by rendering fireworks in 3D. Oh, and it also has sound effects to go with the fireworks. Skyrocket is available in English and French.

What's new in this version:

This version is descended from Jason Sonnenschein's version of the screen saver, with the following changes:
Brought the source code up to date with the latest source code from the Windows version. A slow motion feature has been added; also, Intel Mac users get sound effects!
Fixed a bug that was causing the graphics to be stretched on widescreen displays.
Fixed a bug that made disabling the moving camera rather useless.

I LOVE this screensaver! It's one of the coolest examples of fireworks modeling I've ever seen.

Sadly, after finally upgrading from a G4 PowerBook to an Intel MacBook I've found that this saver studders horribly on my 2.4GHz C2D with 4GB RAM.

The price is right, and I hope the developer updates this very cool saver.
