Product Description:

The aim of pluzzle is to move all the tiles into numerical order, from left to right and top to bottom, leaving the bottom right square empty. You do this by simply dragging the tiles, or by clicking a tile to move it into an adjacent empty space. You can even move collections of tiles by grabbing one end and pushing the other tiles.

A similar software puzzle was included in the original Apple Macintosh computer, released in 1984 (there is an amazing story of how the creator managed to fit it in 600 bytes of memory!) It was a favorite for many years, but now returns in a new form for Mac OS X users to enjoy! Now, get pluzzling!

I thought this game deserved a proper review.

I mainly like this game because it has a really good feature I have not yet found in other slide puzzle games - select any picture (gif or jpeg format) from your computer, and it will allow you use it as the puzzle picture.

The only drawbacks I have found are in the interface design - it's a bit hard on the wrist and fingers, as you have to physically click and drag the tiles into the free space with your mouse. What would possibly work much better is if you could simply click once on the tile you want to move, and it goes into the free space by itself.
Also, the picture is a little difficult to see through each heavily outlined tile.

Overall, it's quite good. It works, has unlimited possibilities for which image to use, and allows you to alter the challenge level with it's various preferences and settings.

AppleBeer
Absolutely worthless and stupid. Doesn't even work properly as it keeps moving by itself. Dumped in the trash.
