Guitar Hero recognizes the controller, but it is stuck scrolling up. It doesn't recognize any of the fret buttons and it thinks the pad is the back button [not the red fret].

I downloaded this driver yet I can't see whether or not it was installed. Whatever the case, the product does not seem to function at all. Any help?

The pref control won't recognize my controller after restarting my laptop! I keep getting the message of no device found... is there a specific way I need to do it so that my controller can be recognized?
Use a third party utility for control mapping. - Version: 0.03, 7/22/2006 05:42PM PST

There are some games that do not map the triggers (they are not considered to be buttons), or duel analog properly, so I would recommend using a third party program.
The one I like the best is ControllerMate. Highly recommened $15

UT 2004 help? - Version: 0.02, 6/27/2006 06:52AM PST

SO, here it the thing ...
I have a MacBook with 1GB RAM.
I recently purchased Unreal Tournament 2004 (UT2004) and I have the most recent patch.
To control said game, I am using an XBOX 360 wired controller and the (generally) excellent driver found here.
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/29122
The thing is: It does not (entirely) work with UT2004!
It works beautifully with any emulators, so I know that the driver "works." I can even see what the buttons map to (i.e. ... D-Pad UP = Button 12, Left Analog UP/Down = Y-Axis, etc...). I just cannot figure out how to get UT to accept this information. The Left Analog does work, which means that I know the game can recognize the controller.
When I go to the controller setup in UT, it does not seem to want to recognize the controller though, despite the fact that the Left Analog IS working!
I know that this is kind of a fringe problem, but any help would be great.

ps ... this driver is otherwise excellent, and works like a charm with all the emulators that I have thrown at it! Keep up the great work!!

.......a driver to let me use a GOOD controller. Very early yet but very useful, new option for "D-pad as buttons" is a godsend, now I can use it in Halo for directions. Rumble function works where it's capable but is no means comprehensive yet.
In summary, will be great oneday but it's usable and functional now.
Well done!
