Product Description:

DVDAfterEdit is a powerful editing tool that enables digital video producers to modify previously authored DVD's in order to add functionality or correct errors prior to mastering. It's simple interface unfolds the underlying command structure of the DVD and gives you detailed precise control of all aspects of the specification.

What's new in this version:

his is a release for Mastering Edition only, which fixes a bug in the ISO Directory back pointers. This bug prevents proper playback of DVD's pre-mastered with DVDAfterEdit in Yamakawa DVD players, which rely on the ISO rather than the UDF Directory. This is not a problem for most other DVD players.

DVDAfterEdit ReviewNothing else like it ! - Version: 3.0.4, 7/3/2006 02:27AM PST

I can't agree with the first reviewer's comments, particularly since the recent price-reduction. As Uli says, myDVDEdit is an interesting toy, but for serious work DVDAfterEdit is the only option. In particular the support is excellent - there are many experienced users active on the forums offering help and advice.

It's true that the software has a fairly steep learning curve, and an update of the documentation is long overdue, but there are many articles in the "Articles and Tutorials" section ( http://www.dvdafteredit.com/?q=node/6 ) which offer step-by-step illustrated guides to many of the program's best features. Reading through a selection of these will quickly get new users "up and running".

( I have been a beta-tester of dvdAE ever since Version 2, and have written articles for the site, however I make no money from sales of the software. )

Great Tool for the Pro DVD Artist but the most things you can do with the Freeware myDVDedit. Only if you have a SCSI DLT Drive this tool makes sence because then you can proof and check for errors. Well for me much overpriced.
