AudioLeak CommentaryNice comparative app... - Version: 1.1.1, 7/23/2006 05:36AM PST

About Mac the Scope... Patience, please. :) We have had to port our code base from CodeWarrior to XCode, because that's the only development enviroment that supports creating Universal Binary. Not a trivial thing to do. There was also some legacy code hanging around from the MPW (Apple's previous development system) days. Huge portions of the application were rewritten, also. This is just a taste of what's ahead for Mac the Scope.

I Agree. This little app is quick and useful.

Their full product “Mac The Scope” could learn a thing or two from this freeware.

AudioLeak ReviewVery Interesting - Version: 1.1, 4/21/2006 09:14AM PST

I was just scanning the printmasters from our last mix, and this program does appear to work and gives some very interesting data. I'm afraid to make suggestions on something that just works and is free, but:
  • It'd be great if the graph could be printed, with the Leq numbers and the name of the file.
  • It'd be nice if the dB scale could be offset for a particular reference level (like -20dbFS)
