I've been looking for a way to remotely manage my EyeTV based DVR for a while now. This app not only fills that role, it fills it nearly perfectly, and has a clean and clear interface to boot. Author was extremely responsive about an issue I identified.

I use a Multi-Media-Server (up 24*7) at home who recording everything with eyeTV. In every room with a TV I use an eyeHome set-top-box.
The only problem was: I could not delete a movie after having watched it with eyeHome on a TV. I had to use AppleRemoteDesktop and log into the Multi-Media-Server in order to delete a file. Sure: Nobody else than me has the rights (and know how) to log into the Multi-Media-Server and do the right things without messing around with the other applications and services on the Multi-Media-Server.
Now its easy and I can also let my wife delete her recordings after she has watched them - a real time safer!
Only one wish is left: It should be possible to set two different paths to the eyeTV application - one for editing and one for playback. Why? Because on some Macs I have installed a second copy of eyeTV in order to watch the recordings on the laptop. The Multi-Media-Server shares the directory of the recordings. So for playback I would like to use the path to the local copy of the application and for editing, recording or deleting I would like to use the remote path to the application.
