This is really great software. Does exactly what it claims in a nice easy-to-use interface. I would highly recommend.
HTTPScoop ROCKS!

I develop Web 2.0 applications for a living and I have to say, HTTPScoop ROCKS! No more trying to piece together tcp dumps and stuff split across multiple packets. No more trying to get Firebug to stick around and keep analyzing during various redirects. This thing just works, and it works well! Three thumbs up!

Like all good Mac software HTTP Scoop just works. Just start it up and start scooping and it completely decodes HTTP traffic on port 80 into easy to digest pages of info with the request and responses collated for easy reference. Any images, movies or other content downloaded as the result of a request can be saved to disk. If you need to stray from the default path you can sniff any port your web server is using or restrict sniffing to a particular host. I've used HTTP Scoop to debug several thorny protocol problems with web clients and web servers and can't recommend it highly enough.

This app looks great, but the author has placed a limit on the amount of traced content that is so tight, it's hardly possible to use it successfully even once to prove that it will work properly.
I could not get even a single web page to finish loading before the buffer was exceeded. Perhaps the author feels that raising the limit would give away too much and undercut registrations. In that case he should know that I'm simply discarding it because I can't get a fair try.

HTTP Scoop is an excellent utility and has saved my bacon more than once, but not long after I purchased it, I started receiving spam at the email address I used for registration -- one that has never been published anywhere. It's only a correlation...but if anyone else has this experience, please add your comment.
Excellent

I tried the first release of HTTP Scoop, and had some problems with the registration of this application. This bug was fixed a day later. Other than that I´m very satisfied how this application work.
