This thing seems to work as advertised, but at 120 bpm, it seems to take an average only about 2 taps. This means that, unless you can tap with robotic accuracy, you still have to mentally average what it displays over several seconds. It should just take 5 second averages and save you the hassle.

This version is crap. Very in accurate. Seems to lock up, then spits up some random bpm. Previous versions worked great....this one needs help.

I needed a tool to get beat counts for iTunes for a walking/running playlist for my daily workouts. I sorted my songs according to pace and it would have taken me forever to do without this thing. It's also small and cute and takes up very little space on my desktop. Nice job!

I can't even stress how much time this saves me - I set up my session in pro tools after tapping away to the song I want to record, and it has not been wrong yet - such a great idea. Now make a guitar tuning widget and I will be a fan for life ;)

i see that there are new features listed on the web page, which is useful to those who already know how this widget works, but i could not find any instructions on how a first-time user should proceed. i think i sort of figured it out for myself, but a couple of sentences on how to use the widget would be most helpful.
