if i'm not mistaken (not at my mac now) activity monitor displays in the far right column whether a running app, process or daemon is intel or ppc. i think you can even sort by this column.

This app is useful in that I was able to identify universal apps that were running through rosetta after mistakenly being configured to do so in the Get Info panel. In particular, it appears that Activity Monitor, while universal, has Rosetta checked in the Get Info panel - at least in my default install...

Okay, so the argument is that Get Info will only show which apps "might" run under Rosetta...I guess.

But, Activity Monitor will show which apps ARE running as Intel or PowerPC. (By default, it's the last column.)
