Security Patcher for Adobe CS2 CommentaryRepost of Security Patcher: now it seems real - Version: 1.0, 2/3/2006 06:55AM PST

This new repost of "Security Patcher for Adobe CS2 - 1.0" (unfortunately not changing version number) now consists of a small patcher, not Adobe Help Center any more (Adobe finally fixed that).

All reviews and commentary posted in January are not relevant any more.

This patch requires Illustrator 12 or Photoshop 9 to be installed, either stand-alone or as part of Creative Suite 2 standard or premium). I run the installer successfully but cannot determine what exactly has changed (should fix a "file permissions vulnerability", but permissions look pretty the same as before at first glance).

They finally linked to the right file. It applies the patch and puts up a log file to let you know what was patched - a nice touch. Thanks.

Don't know why I'm getting these errors. Absolutely no idea. I have absolutely no applications running, I have come off of a FRESH restart and rebuild/repair...

What gives!?
