This software is broken. It is out of date. There is no uninstaller file, and as far I can see no way to reach the developers. This should be REMOVED from versiontracker.

In beta since June 2006... no replies from developer, forums on site closed. Me thinks this fish is dead in the water. I’m going back to Synergy.

Shouldn't the version listing be commercial since this one is basically a short-lived trial until you pay up? (I know MS gets away with selling (what should be) beta versions, but that's a dissertation topic in itself.)

I think this app is pretty nice. I mainly want to use it for Last.fm support, but if you don't have an internet connection at login time, then it pops up a dialog that you can't dismiss without killing the PID.
Also it should be able to take a playlist off your iPod and submit that to Last.fm too... Otherwise a great start.

This software is great but it stops running now and then without me doing anything. I was looking at the dl.tv podcast, which runs for about 40 minutes. During that time Menuet stopped running 4-5 times and I had to go to the System Prefs to start Menuet again....very annoying bug!!!

I'm loving the progress that's being made on this app. Last.FM support is rockin'. I wouldn't be using it if it weren't for Menuet. This is a great program with a lot of potential (not to mention a boatload of great features already).

I used to use Synergy, but there is so much to like about Menuet that I couldn't help switching to it.
For one thing, it looks really sleek - and the various skins for controls are very nice. I really like the ability to see other tracks for the current artist - a very nice touch. The "Grab Artwork" feature is great too.
If there was anything that I'd like to see improve in Menuet, it would be stability. I've had a few times when the program has quit when I browse the playlist (I've sent in one of the crash reports). I'd also like to see the artist sorting omit the word "The", so that (for instance) The Beatles appeared under "B" rather than "T" - but I was very impressed by the quick reply from Specere when I mentioned this.

The menu bar features and the hot keys work great on this, but there are some serious problems with the album art feature. If you have any punctuation or diacriticals in the artist's name or album title, it craps out and can't find anything.
Other wise, a pretty slick piece of work. It's be totally awesome if all the features worked 100%.
