Easy to use especially if you like to use quick key functions. Perfect for at work.

GimmeSomeTune ReviewUpdate Window shows every time I boot up - Version: 4.1.1, 9/4/2008 10:24PM PST

I paid for this and every time I reboot the computer I get a pane (PAIN) telling me that the same update/version is available for download. I couldn't get rid of it and can't get the developer's site link on the VT page to open. Outside of that, it's a handy thing to have.

This is far and away the best "remote" iTunes controller and lyric/cover fetcher I've found. I've stopped looking at others. I don't see the point. GimmeSomeTune does everything I want and is easily customizable. I modified my hotkeys so they're all intuitive to me, and I pretty much keep iTunes hidden and just use Gimme.

My only (very minor) complaint is that saving edits you make to fetched lyrics could be little easier.

Still getting used to this, but it seems really handy.

Note that the lyrics font face and size can both be changed now (see previous comment on version 3.7.4).

This is a very handy app, particularly for lyrics. One suggestion: Provide an option for the Lyrics window to open by default (and stay open) when the app starts up. Many users will principally want this app for its lyrics capability - i.e. so they can see the lyrics whenever iTunes is playing a song.

GimmeSomeTune CommentaryPromising, but am unable to change font size. - Version: 3.7.5, 9/14/2007 01:34AM PST

Need to make the text in the lyrics window bigger.
Classroom use requires a much larger point-size.
For now will stick with pearLyrics.
The latter is still excellent, dispite over a year of coerced abandonment.
Found the universal(intel/PowerPC) 0.6.3 version on bittorrent.
The older version was fine too, but I'm trying to go completely Universal.
