Apple iWeb ReviewAnother step backwards! - Version: 3.0.1, 3/27/2009 10:44AM PST

iWeb is basically a good and easy to use application. The main problem is that the developers seem to be incapable of actually making it work out of the box and refuse to add the many user requested features that competing applications have already added.
This long awaited and belated "bug fix" doesn't appear to fix much at all.
What I find somewhat exasperating is the way that the application randomly screws up text and text hyperlinks. To fix this I have to delete the text, save, quit, reboot, launch, add the text and publish.
I can only assume that the magazine reviewers who gave iWeb four stars haven't actually used it.

Apple iWeb ReviewDon't install iWeb - Version: 3.0.1, 3/27/2009 02:13AM PST

iWeb3 is bugged. It has trouble with ftp, with blogs, images are misplaced in the blog summary page and in the rss feed. Images are being misplaced from one blog into an other. There is trouble with uploading. In short iWeb3 was not ready for release.

Apple iWeb ReviewiWeb still creates bloated websites!!! - Version: 2.0.4, 7/23/2008 05:12PM PST

Why does iWeb still create bloated websites. For example iWeb would take up 8MB of website space, while if I do the same site in Rapidweaver it takes up 1MB. This makes for much faster loading when viewing sites online! Come on Apple!! Cut the crud and make website publishing more efficient !!!
