ProfCast provides a low cost solution for recording and distributing lectures, special events, and presentations as podcasts. ProfCast offers an integrated workflow that makes creating, recording, and publishing podcasts easy. It's as simple as Launch, Load, and Lecture!

ProfCast is the only application that makes it easy to turn the lecture you are already giving into an enhanced podcast. The result will be complete with slides, chapters, and audio, all synchronized as you gave the lecture live! ProfCast integrates with your existing lecture software, such as Apple's Keynote, and a user's existing presentation workflow. With integrated help and support documentation, ProfCast is easy to learn and use by the most inexperienced user. I am constantly surprised by how quickly David responds to support issues. I reported one tonight, and SHAZAM! he responded within 2 minutes.

There have been some issues with podcast publishing, but 1.2.5 seems to have cleared them up.

It saves me SOOO much time over recording audio in one app, then saving slides into files, and building the XML file for Chapter Tool!

ProfCast Usage TipFeature Request and Question for Developer - Version: 1.2.4, 5/17/2006 01:36PM PST

This looks promising!

1) I would like to include mpeg4/or H.264/QT video into my lectures - does profcast support this?

2) Is there a way to record my lecture with a "Tele-promter" in other words iSight records me looking straight at camera, but I can read my speach from the Mac Screen?

(Any User's recommend a Mac Telepromter application?)

3) Can prof cast be exported to Logic Pro / DVD Studio Pro / Final Cut or just Garage Band?

4) I use "Goldfish" instead of iWeb. Can Profcast import to "Goldfish" or Freeway Pro or other web apps or just iWeb?

Thanks Paul - TruthwChrist@msn.com
