Product Description:

Keith's iPod Photo Reader is a simple little program that lets you view the photos stored on an Apple iPod. iPods can store full resolution photos for transferring between computers, but also use a separate library of .ithmb files to store photos which are displayed directly on the iPod or on a video device (television) that is attached to the iPod. This program can read the .ithmb file format. It presents a browsable library of thumbnails that can be individually expanded to full size and saved to PICT files.

What's new in this version:

  • More precise YUV/RGB conversion matrices.
  • Complete overhaul of the user interface, primarily to generalize it for a wider range of image dimensions and encodings.
  • Numerous cosmetic changes.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

Keith's iPod Photo Reader ReviewWorks, but not elegant - Version: 1.1, 1/26/2006 11:05PM PST

It does convert .ithmb files to .pict files but the interface and functionality are both minimal. I could not get it to open a folder of .ithmb files, even after renaming the files as specified in the Read Me file so I had to open them individually. But this is still better than losing the pictures altogether.
