AppZapper allows you to confidently uninstall virtually any application as easily as it was installed -- just drag and drop. Drag one or more unwanted apps onto AppZapper and watch as it finds all the extra files and let's you delete them with a single click. A slick safety system remembers which apps you want to keep safe, and the log tracks all the files you've zapped. Put simply, AppZapper is the uninstaller Apple forgot.

What's new in this version:

  • New QuickZap feature allows you to quickly select a preference pane, widget, or plugin without manually digging around for it
  • Bug where the size of enclosing folders included the size of the app itself fixed
  • Accuracy of finding certain in-app external libraries improved
  • Minor bug fixes and optimizations

    I have to agree with the comments about this app's developer. It doesn't work in Leopard and there is no excuse for it not being updated by now!

    I am looking for something to take its place!

    I'm sorry buy AppZapper is a rip-off. AppTrap does exactly the same thing for free, while CleanApp is cheaper and does far more than AppZapper, including logging installs to actually delete _everything_, archiving uninstalled apps, removing preference panes and widgets, and deleting useless portions of universal binaries. Given the alternatives out there, this app's developer needs to lower the price or add some features or there's simply no point to it.
