Geneious Troubleshooting ReportCan't define sequence type - Version: 1.2.1, 7/27/2006 09:19PM PST

For whatever reason, Geneious keeps thinking that my nucleotide sequence files are protein sequences, which prevents me from aligning them all together. It's pretty annoying that I can't just tell it that they are one type or another.

Geneious ReviewWhat You see is what You get.... not more;-) - Version: 1.0, 5/23/2006 07:38AM PST

Geneious became for me what I presume it should serve the scientist for: some sort of housekeeper for every little sequence flying around on my mac!

First being fascinated of the agents and the possibilities this program offered I also was annoyed of the limitations, that You can't change annotations or import or export every file format available....

but applied on its purpose of collection and organization this tool is magnificent! I am using it together with "Sequence analysis" and for sequenced data "4peaks"...

Maybe someday if annotating becomes possible from the program and further customization this will be the only program You'll need to handle DNA and protein info? It in my opinion at least is the best attempt to reach that goal!
