Product Description:
FileFinder is a Mac OS X native cataloger that memorizes any disk or folder hierarchy. It can quickly browse or search files, whether you have physical access to them or not. FileFinder supports image previews, image metadata, and archive files for offline searches.
What's new in this version:
Version 1.6.1:
- 1.6.1: Bug fix: crash when exporting Groups as HTML/TEXT files.
- Users request: FileFinder allow again to import catalogs from CDFinder export files. See Help for more information.
- Added: export catalogs as HTML files.
- Added: "Items -> Use Live Preview As Icon" main menu option.
- Change: Imported previews, when exist, are now always used as icons for catalog items.
- Change: "Preview Icons" now only apply to compute icons from live previews when it's possible.
- Bug fix: stored image previews/comments/labels have disappeared for some special catalogs with FileFinder 1.5.
- Bug fix: movie preview importer was only importing ".mov" files.

While Spotlight not allow offline searches and offline image preview browsing, disk cataloggers are not obsolete or useless on MacOSX and as you can read here: http://www.apple.com/macosx/leopard/spotlight.html , MacOSX.5 "Leopard" spotlight still not provide this kind of features.

$25 license is too high with no dev commitment to support. Leopard Spotlight could make FF obsolete. Or am I missing something???
